The Swedish Booksellers Association was founded in 1893 and is a non-profit trade organization for Sweden's book, paper and office merchants. Our mission is to disseminate information about books and reading and to create the conditions for a broad and competent network of booksellers in Sweden. The association shall safeguard the common interests of the member companies, both internationally and within Sweden. We do this, among other things, by bringing their case to decision makers, suppliers and other interest organizations. The association has about 300 members and is largely financed by membership fees.
