The Irish Branch of the Booksellers Association, run by a committee of Irish booksellers. The Bookselling Ireland Committee, which meets six times a year, is the force behind Irish Book Week, which launched in 2018, the Irish Book Trade Conference, as well as World Book Day and Independent Bookshop Week in Ireland.
Bookselling Ireland has a strong political and economic lobbying function, representing the interests of Irish booksellers to TDs and to the Dáil.

On 24 January 2023, representatives of EIBF’s member organisations reunited once again during this year’s first EIBF international call. The quarterly call allows members to share insights, struggles and progress from their respective countries.
